Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill Menu

Quick, cheap, & tasty Mediterranean food. Sometimes you just want some falafel or a big plate of hummus without the wait or price of a restaurant. This place is great in that way. Sure I've had better but what do you expect for a quick service restaurant like Chipotle? The most surprising thing is that their falafel is usually pretty good. I've had some bad falafel at real Mediterranean restaurants so it's a good thing. They have some really really good iced tea. They also make fresh fried chips that are tasty. So big portions, great food, low prices, and quick service. What more do you need? Especially if you don't have time but you crave shawarma.

Garbanzo's is good stuff especially considering it is in the fast-food category. There are lots of good things to choose from and even if you are vegetarian you'll find yourself well satisfied. And they don't skimp on serving size. I usually get the pita plate and I find that it's plenty for two meals for me - and therefore the meal is a great value, too! It's not even that expensive to begin with so getting two meals out of it is delightful! They make their own pita in house so if you like pita you'll also have the option of buying a bag of pitas to take home with you (or eat them all right there if you want to, I suppose). And they are tasty. Are they truly authentic? I don't think so. But they are tasty. The staff have always been very nice and helpful, plus you'll likely get a free falafel to nibble on while you wait to place your order. And the line moves quickly so no worries there, either. Garbanzo's is good stuff all around.

We were in the mood for something light and easy and this was close by. We were very pleased with our choice! The employees were incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious. Both my husband and I had the gyro wrap, and while this isn't one of those authentic Mediterranean places with the meat on the spit that they cut off for you the meat was very tasty. Their sauce and veggies also were fresh and tasty. I was also very pleased with the selection of non-soda drinks. As someone who doesn't like carbonation, it can be hard to find something other than water or overly sweetened lemonade at fast food type places. Here, they had three flavors of iced tea as well as specialty lemonade. We will definitely be returning!

Garbanzos still offers a great alternative to the same old burgers and subs --- unfortunately this location's service has dropped a bit. I can only speak for the weekend lunch rush but the last few times in the steak has run out and we have to wait for our food. This is not a big deal except for the fact we didn't even get a "sorry." Hopefully things will improve.

Have started to visit this location more frequently since discovering how tasty their food can be. My first two visits were great! However the 3rd didn't end so well. When a customer orders more than one wrap/gyro/or anything wrapped in tin foil it should be common sense to mark or label which item is which. Not reply with "Oh I didn't know you wanted them labeled" and make a big deal out of opening them to figure out which item is which. People do have food allergies and last I checked I paid for a service I shouldn't be required to ask for something that is common sense. I didn't even get an apology or a reference to the mistake after the fact. Poor customer service.

Always horrible service, or like today they didn't have any rice or steak. I have been here 5 times and unfortunately each time they have an issue.

5 stars of fast food goodness. Your choice of protein or vegetarian substitute (e.g. mushrooms), choice of pita wrap, laffa bread or a plate, and a large variety of sides, toppings and sauces make for an incredibly tasty and good value meal. I can't even finish the whole plate (though I totally want to). The chicken is incredibly tender while also tasty and I appreciate the freshly baked pita breads. The staff is super cheerful, the line moves quickly, and they offer free tastes of anything you want.

My first time eating at Garbanzo and it will be my last. The steak was cold and the soda machine distributed flat soda. I'd much rather go to Saj Mediterranean Grill next time.

My date decided to take me here for lunch one day. She'd eaten here post-workout before and said it was an excellent carb fix. Overall, not bad but I'm not sure I'll be a repeat customer. Service is excellent. You're greeted with smiles and hello the moment you walk through the door. We were each handed a free sample meatball, wrapped in a cocktail napkin. As I waited in line to place my order, I took a bite. It was the worst meatball I'd ever had in my life. Dry and devoid of any flavor. I kept the rest of it wrapped in the napkin and out of sight long enough to toss it when the moment was right. I later asked my girl, "Did you eat that meatball thing?" "No way," she replied, making a face. Fortunately, the food only got better. I ordered a whole wheat pita but had to wait about two minutes for it to be ready. I guess the wheat pitas are popular. When it arrived, I watched the server nearly get third degree burns to his fingers as he painstakingly sliced it open. Okay so now? We're off! From here on out just picture the Subway sandwich experience. Mediterranean style. You pick your ingredients and watch them load it up. I chose chicken, which was good. Some type of yellow rice, which was bland. And added some red cabbage, Tabuleh (?), and some spicy sauce. A couple other things too which I'm forgetting. Overall, it was not bad. And it will indeed fill you up. But here's the problem with pitas, in my opinion. The things are loaded ingredient by ingredient. Which means, when you bite into them, you're experiencing whatever ingredients they stuffed into it, piece by piece. In reverse order. Think about it. If you have them load chicken, rice, and mushrooms, when you bite into it you'll get a mouthful of mushrooms, rice, and chicken. In that order. This is more of a pita problem than a Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill problem. To me, it's a little like a stone age version of a sandwich. With a sandwich, you experience all ingredients at once. With a pita, not so much. So I am pretty sure that was my last foray into Garbanzo's. And if I never eat another pita in my life, I will be a very content human being. But if this is your thing, you could do a lot worse than Garbanzo's.

Went for the first time today it wasn't bad. I had the traditional gyro. I've had better by far however. Flavor was lacking. The service however was outstanding . the guys working were nice and did a good job.

Garbanzo has some of the most consistently fresh food and friendly service in the city, and this location follows suit perfectly. I think this place has more seating than most do, and their patio is bigger than the others as well. I've never had a bad meal at Garbanzos. It's not exactly Greek, not Turkish, it's... well, what they say, Mediterranean. There's something for everyone, including the vegetable salad, tabuleh, pickled eggplant (yum), hummus, baba ganoush and stuffed grape leaves along with your protein. Clean, fast and friendly service - it's a great place for lunch or dinner. Minus one star for being a chain, but it's a Colorado chain so they get the star right back :)

Been to two Garbanzo's now and they were both great! The food is fresh and well prepared and they don't skimp you on the portions. And everything is labeled SO WELL. It's a vegan dream. I also love they have portobello mushrooms! The kid was nice and gave me half falafel/half portobello in my plate, nie! My only complaint is the pita bread could be a little better. A little fresher... Great for quick, healthy, Mediterranean food on the go. I hear they may be opening some in CA! We welcome you with open arms Garbanzo

Garbanzo has a nice menu of grilled meats and fresh veggies. My favorites are the chicken Kabobs, the Garbanzo Greens and their chicken plate. I am not a big fan of their hummus or falafels but I do like their veggie salad, cabbage salads and pickles. One complaint is the regular non-kabob chicken often has small pieces of chicken bone. Otherwise it would be perfect. Okay, another complaint is I have like 30 visits and have never gotten anything on in their rewards program. It is practically a waste of my wallet space.

I am trying to eat healthy foods, and this is the place to do it. Great flavors, nice people, and healthy healthy healthy. I am growing to really like this food. I feel better after I eat there... Maybe there is something to eating healthy. Excellent. Try it. Try the hot sauce. They will substitute a few chips for the bread if you ask.

This place is good for what it is, a "seat yourself, order at the counter" place. The fresh pitas were really good, the hummus could use more lemon for my tastes but it was still quite good.

Fast food can be good & tasty...this place proves it! Favorite is the plate because it allows you to sample everything. After trying it all my go to is the falafel dipped in the freshly made chili sauce. The kabob of your choice is grilled nicely, but you'll miss out on all the side choices you get with the plate.

Here's a sample of what I love about Garbanzo. The minute you walk in the door, you're greeted and handed a sample of Falafel, piping hot with a nice crunch on the the outside. I normally order the plate, which comes with you choice of meat, salad, hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and sauces. I always also get either a side of falafel or their homemade chips, with a lovely side of the Mediterranean garlic sauce. I love the price and the amount of food you get! Is the food authentic Mediterranean? Probably not. But a quick, yummy, meal with good flavors? I'll take it.

Ihn the fast food department, you can't beat Garbonzos. They have super fresh made from scratch food, and it's very easy to eat vegetarian or vegan here. In fact, I should disclose that I have never eaten meat here, so this review does not include their meat. It's easy to get in and out of this place, so even though it's not drive thru, it really doesn't take much more time, if you need something quick to go. There is plenty of seating, including outdoor. The bathrooms are clean, and they have a great selection of three iced teas (they have soda, lemonade etc too) that don't have sugar or anything in them. My favorite is the Pom. Green Tea. And I love me some baklava for dessert. I usually get the Falafel plate, some lentil soup, or a Falafel salad. With the plate you get the Falafel, and then you can choose what you want from hummus, baba ganoush (sp?), salads, pickled sides, etc and a big array of sauces. You also get a white or wheat pita with your plates. The reason I would take a star off is for two things I wish were different whenever I go there. I wish the chairs were more comfortable - they are stiff metal things, so go for a booth or barstool if you have a bad back like I do. Secondly, I know I'm a bit picky (I've have amazing falafel in world travel) but I think their falafel is a bit overcooked, and this seems to be the way they always make it. Just my preference. SO solid healthy fare if you are looking for fast food. And they have kids meals, and points card if you are looking for those too. I always get out of here for less than $10.

This is a great place for something quick and something different. I mean, anything quick you get seems to be burgers, sandwiches, or burritos. This was a nice switch-up to the norm. I had their grilled steak stuffed pita with a lot of good garnishes. Their spicy garlic sauce (which is white, I think I referred to it by the right name) is REALLY good. Their falafels were decent. I've not had that many falafels, but these seemed to lack a little taste. Overall, a good place to eat. Next time I will definitely try their salad, which sounded nice and light.

Don't be fooled, it is fast food. But it's good stuff. I would say Garbanzo's is Mediterranean only as much as Chipotle is Mexican. There's a theme here, not the genuine article. That being said, it is mighty tasty. It's nice to have something different, and I like that fast food chains are developing that aren't comletely greasy and unhealthy. Of course, this isn't exactly diet food, but that's not what I'm looking for. The steak is pretty good, their red chili sauce is awesome, and the Garbanzo chips are crispy and have good flavor. Hummus is hummus, (sorry, but it's just a bland lubricant) but the veggies taste fresh. It's filling too. It's a good spot to go for lunch, they do get pretty slammed though, so go early or prepare for a mob scene. I'll be back soon!

What I like best about the food is that it tastes fresh, clean, and healthy. I'm not usually in the mood for it in the winter, but in the summer it is just the perfect food. What I like about this particular location is that it's always clean and the employees have always been friendly and helpful. On one trip, I ordered some extra rice for my 1 year old and there was no extra charge. Just because! Very nice. My only complaint is that I'm not a huge fan of the dolma. Typically, I love dolma, but there's something about the taste of the dolma that isn't what I'm accustomed to in dolma and so I've just given up on it. But that's my only complaint. The falafel with some hummus or tzatziki sauce? Addicting!

Garbanzo has a great location and has a laid back, casual atmosphere. Their food is laid back , too. Service is cafeteria style, and getting through the line is easy. I have found the best part of the 3 meals i have had there was the iced tea. Unfortunately, Garbanzo doesn't know beans about the proper preparation of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food any better than McDonald's knows how to prepare Chinese food. I prepare Middel Eastern food regularly at home, and come from a Middle Eastern family, so I am going to be undeniably harsh on low quality food in this category. The falafel, though served fresh and hot is seasoned with too much cilantro, the hummus is greasy from being cut half and half with a low grade olive oil/salad oil mix. I am unsure what that is they call tabour (or for others, Tabbouleh). The hummus has no lemon ,and a nasty cumin flavor to it. The meat is adequately cooked, but not so well in the seasoning category. The tea is fantastic, though, and always tastes fresh brewed when I am there. It is too bad such a neat looking casual place doesn't make their food even close enough to authentic. It is healthier than McDonald's but I am unsure by how much. I'd recommend Saj as a comparison.

Decent+ fast-food Mediterranean. The white pita is delicious, almost as good as the real thing in Israel. Falafel is pretty good. The kebabs are very dry and not worthwhile. The hummus is ok along with other sides, and the spicy garlic sauce is fantastic with bread or potato chips

Walked in and got some free falafel! It's a good place for a quick lunch or dinner. It's like Qdoba but with Mediterranean food.

Garbanzo is as good as it gets for fast-casual restaurants. It's great to have an option in the sea of burrito and sandwich places around here, and it's a major plus for me that their vegetarian choices aren't covered in cheese. I've had the falafel plate here twice, and I'm in love-- crunchy, flavorful falafel with your choice of salads and sauces and a white or wheat pita. It's thoroughly satisfying and leaves you feeling healthier than you would after downing a giant burrito at one of the places down the street. I like to get a little bit of everything on the side: hummus, rice, babaganoush, tabuleh, vegetable salad (mostly cucumber/tomato,) pickles and pickled eggplant. The tahini and cilantro sauce are good. You can add a hardboiled egg or some roasted eggplant (although those are another 79 cents and they didn't tell me that in line, nor is it on the big menu- had to check the takeout menu to find that out.) Garbanzo chips (very much like potato chips, although I imagine they have slightly more protein) are another $1.79. Service here was great, although since they just opened, there are about a dozen employees (managers? investors?) milling around, so I'm sure everyone was putting their best effort forward. Only negative is the first time I tried their hummus it just didn't taste right... the flavor was very bland, almost like water, although the texture seemed right and wasn't watery. Today the new batch was right on, much more flavorful, so I'm hoping that was a one-time mistake. I'm very happy to have this place in the neighborhood!

  • Lisa J.

The meat was not juicy at all; and it tasted like reheated microwaved cardboard & was very chewy; the babaganoush was bitter & gross, the falafel also tasted bad with burnt pieces (not crunchy) and the tahini sauce was also bad; even fast food Mediterranean should be edible.

  • Lauren B.

Garbanzo is a great spot for some pseudo-Mediterranean food. But I like psudo-Mediterranean food so that's just fine with me! When you go to Garbanzo make sure you are ready to eat! Portions are huge, especially if you get a plate. Don't be fooled by all their marketing materials that claim their food is uber-healthy. While MOST of the ingredients are healthy, put them all together in the portions that they do and you easily have a 1500 calorie meal in front of you. But like I said, portions are huge. Most meals can probably be made in to two meals. Finally...don't ever turn down the free falafel they present to you before ordering. Their falafel is wonderful deep-fried goodness.

  • Bill G.

It's funny that reviews of nearby Garbanzo stores compare it to Chipotle because my first thought upon walking in the door was, "It's a Chipotle with hummus!" The menu has the same structure as Chipotle, the process of ordering works the same, the food looks the same, and basically it tastes the same. Except with hummus. It's not bad, it's just what you'd expect to see if a bunch of corporate MBAs got together with the idea of "Let's design a hip, new, fast-casual, healthy food restaurant that's vaguely Middle Eastern!"

  • David R.

Authentic or not, I love this place. Very tasty and filling pita sandwiches for about 500 calories. Fast, but not fast food, not to mention a free falafel when you walk in the door.

    (4)
  • Daniel B.

Not great Mediterranean food, but a decent fast food choice. It is based on the Chipotle model. Better than getting a greasy burger. Don't go here thinking you are going to get the best MidEast food, go knowing that you will get decent food that is healthier for you than most quick lunch options.

They have healthy food that I try to eat whenever I can. This location has friendly service and nice decor, though sometimes I wish they would clean the tables faster.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I love that I can pick and choose a plate or make my own falafel. It always tastes fresh and unique to me. Plus I can take home a plate and have two meals. I especially like the steak with the red cabbage, pickles and garlic sauce. I've been downtown to 'authentic' restaurants and prefer Garbanzo. The only reason this is not 5 stars is because I can blow through 1000 calories in a meal if I'm not careful.

    (4)
  • Brian R.

Good place to eat. Clean and the staff is friendly and helpful (if you don't know what something is, ask). A touch pricey for my tastes, wish it was more reasonable so I could talk my wife and kids into trying it out with me. Right now, they just see it as a waste of money to try something so high priced when they might not like it.
